Pomeroy's Tom Herres Honored by Diocese
Receives 2007 Catholic Community Service Award
  

   Tom Herres, co-owner of Herres Chevrolet in Pomeroy and a Holy Rosary parishioner, was recently honored by the Catholic Diocese of Spokane for his years of community service.

   A current and previous member of numerous parish and community organizations -- including the Knights of Columbus, Holy Rosary Parish Council, Garfield County Hospital Board, and the Diocesan Financial Council -- Tom consistently is one of the first to offer his time and service when needed.

   Tom was honored at a banquet in Spokane on May 24, 2007, by the Trustees of the Catholic Foundation of the Spokane Diocese.
