Chapter Officers Installed

Saturday night Fred Matthies, grand master of the second veil of the Masonic grand chapter, installed the following officers of Evergreen Chapter, No. 10.

Rebekahs Have Installation

The Rebekahs Tuesday night installed the following officers: Ethel Horrell, noble grand; Mina Bue, vice grand; Hattie Dickson, recording secretary; Jennie Dixon, financial secretary; Pearl Patterson, treasurer; Mittie Chard, warden; Sue Waldron, conductor; Lola Baker, chaplain; Eva Fitzsimmons, inner guard; Hazel Emerson, outer guard; Alva McClung, R. S. N. G.; Nellie Wilkins, L. S. N. G.; Louise Farley, R. S. V. G.; Emma Read, L. S. V. G.; Ernestine Houk, musician. Clara Pyle was seated as past noble grand.

Personal Mention

Leaving by Monday's train were Miss Ermah Farley for school at Bellingham and Miss Bernadine Rauch for Newport, Wash., where she is teaching.

J. J. Bentley on Monday accompanied his sister, Mrs. Ida Marr, to Pendleton, where they will visit their sister, Mrs. Lulu Smith. Mrs. Marr expects to return for another visit in January next year, when Mr. and Mrs. Bentley will celebrate their fiftieth wedding anniversary.

The Peola Budget

Every one enjoyed the Christmas tree and program at the Peola school-house. After the program the seats were taken out and the rest of the evening was spent dancing.

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Rimmelspacher spent Christmas day at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs D. H. Mc-Greevy, in Pomeroy.

Mr. and Mrs. Zack Ferrell and children came up from Pomeroy Monday and spent Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Storey. Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Young and children were also guests of Mr. and Mrs. Storey.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brooks entertained Mr. and Mrs. Joe Polumsky and children, and Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Polumsky and children on Christmas day.
