Donna Jean Wolf Bartlow

Donna Jean Wolf Bartlow, a Pomeroy accountant and homemaker, died Friday at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston of cancer. She was 38.

She was born February 21, 1960, in Albany, Oregon, to Paul E. and Dorothy H. Manderfeld Wolf. She attended elementary school in Walla Walla, Othello, and Colfax before moving to Pomeroy with her family in 1974.

She graduated from Pomeroy High School in 1978 and Valley Business College in 1979. She worked at Red Steer Drive-in in Pomeroy while she attended high school and business college. Then she worked as a bookkeeper for the ABLE Automotive Company at Pomeroy for five years.

She married Gerald Ellsworth Bartlow on January 14, 1984, in Pomeroy.

She later worked in the dietary department at Garfield County Memorial Hospital and then worked for the Garfield County Senior Citizens Information Assistance Office until she became ill.

Bartlow was a member of the Pomeroy Church of the Nazarene and a Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed swimming and water and snow skiing. She enjoyed sewing and crafting decorations and gifts for family and friends on holidays and birthdays.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald E. Bartlow of Pomeroy; two daughters, Monica M. and Melissa A. Bartlow of Pomeroy; a son, Nicholas E. Bartlow of Pomeroy; father, Paul E. Wolf of Pomeroy; three sisters, Theresa A. Wolf of Vancouver, Wash., Janice M. Zorb of Pomeroy and Patricia H. Appel of Pomeroy; and a brother, Edward A. Wolf of Albion, Wash. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Wolf.

Funeral services were at the Pomeroy Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Todd Bramhall officiating. Burial will follow at the Pomeroy City Cemetery.
